fed up and just sick of talking about something that happened over a year ago.
Um, but like when we give agents an opportunity and a platform to talk about whatever they want to talk about, we had a lane law on a couple of weeks prior and he was kind of breaking down how that Nico, he sure extension was going to look, which he ended up signing a few days after we recorded the episode with him.

We love when agents come on and give their peace of mind, but to us, we expected to get a little traction on that, just given the nature of the conversation, but I didn't expect over 1.3 million views on Puckpedia's Twitter with the clip, and then me getting text messages from people I don't ever get text messages from, people wanting to talk about it more.
It took a life of its own, but...
You know, I think Ferris got his point across.
And to your point, he will maximize what value he can get for his clients.
If you look at the co-buyer deal, he got an incredible deal for his client on that contract.
Well, Jeff, too, your old pal Elliot Friedman, he always says, you know, we get mad when players give these, you know, people in hockey media, right?
They give these template boring answers.
But then we also get mad when they tell the truth and they really expand on it and they give their personality a little bit.
And these people, you can't get both sides, either get one or the other.
And to me, I'd much rather a situation like Darren Ferris, where he gives his side of it and he's really thorough in his answer and it allows the conversation to happen.
even Kent Hughes is in the, you know, the GM of the Montreal Canadians right now.
Like he, he obviously came from a nice background and then his agency got acquired and then he went to Montreal and then the fallout was, you know, I think some of those agents, those players ended up coming up to cortex with Darren Ferris.
