And hopefully the young kids see that and, you know, can translate when they get to the NHL.

Well, I think the biggest thing is we sat him down at the beginning of the year and we explained we're going to do this, this, and this.

you know, extra and, you know.

why we're doing it.

We had to sit him down a few times to explain that we're not picking on you.

It's the big picture.

I always say it's the runway is longer because you got to, you know, we look at the big picture.

It's going to take you a little longer to get there and we're okay with that.

And as long as we see the improvements that we were working on and he's gained weight, he's gotten stronger and I would never have thought he'd be getting the points that he has.

You know, he's a guy, you know, I think he's played almost every game for us and

You know, this is a guy coming from Europe where they don't play 72 games.

So it's been a long haul.

You know, you're away from your family for really the first year ever.

And, you know, he was fortunate his whole family came at Christmas time and spent about, you know, seven to ten days here.

But I think helping, you know, him with Leppinen and Gervente being here, I think it's been good.

And I know the older guys and the younger guys, you know,

taken him in and looked after him, and he's, you know, kind of come out of his own shell, and that's good to see, because you can see he's getting more confident on and off the ice, and that's what you want.

high expectations from him from the league and I think he had a baby a couple weeks before he left and it took a while for them to get over him and his wife so it took him a while to adapt to the new you know the new league the different rules the forechecking the hitting and all that and then after about a month into the season he really took off and unfortunately he got hurt and

And, you know, he missed some time, but he's, you know, finding his way again.
