I think he's right there with Terry and Arnold where you can say he's CB1 in this class.
Yeah, I mean, that's a little higher than I thought he was going to go.
But after he showed his ability to play like press man coverage at the Senior Bowl because he was mostly his own quarterback or corner in college.
That is such a Sean Payton pick.
This is first round Adam Troutman without having to trade away your entire day three to the Minnesota Vikings.
With the 13th pick in the locked on NFL mock draft, the Las Vegas Raiders select Terryon Arnold, cornerback, Alabama.
Now, I went with Terryon Arnold from Alabama at the number 13 overall pick after multiple efforts to get up to the number two spot for the Raiders to select their quarterback of the future in Jaden Daniels, but it was a no-go when it comes to the Washington Commanders and the Raiders coming to an agreement.
So I thought, why not go ahead the way that the mock draft is shaken out
and go get an alpha dog at the secondary position.
The Raiders had a really good defense in 2023.
Head coach Antonio Pierce has mentioned, talked about multiple times how he needs that alpha dog across from Jack Jones and Nate Hobbs, a couple members of the Raiders secondary that they have right now.
You get Terryon Arnold, a guy with all the confidence in the world, a guy with a lot of ball production.
All of a sudden, you have a very stingy secondary to go with that defensive line led by Christian Wilkins, Max Crosby, and last year's number one overall pick, well, seventh overall pick in the first round, Tyree Wilson.
So the Raiders get an alpha dog in their secondary with cornerback Terion Arnold out of Alabama.
So I was going to offer pick 22, the 120th pick in the fourth round, and a third in 2025.
You could throw a fifth rounder in there, and then a third in 2025.
Oh, man.
Do you know, not about you, but I don't think I want to move 53.
