Yeah, to be honest, I wanted Denmark to give Chesky a right pumping.
I wanted them to beat them 5-0.
I wanted to be able to say that, well, even if we'd have got Denmark, they'd have probably done that to us.
So, you know, it's better to go out in the semis than the final.
But having done the game, I looked at Denmark and some of the names on the list, like Rasmus Hoyland, Christian Eriksson come off the bench, still very capable of making things happen.
And they've got some wonderful players, but they didn't really turn up on the night.
And I give Chesky a lot of credit for that.
They hurried and harassed in the middle of the park and didn't get cut open too many times.
But the overriding feeling was that Denmark were there for the taking.
And had that been Denmark and Dublin against us...
I'd have probably backed us to go through.
So we were very, very close in the end.
You know, if we'd have somehow come out on top of that penalty kick against Chesky, we'd have possibly been going to the World Cup, which doesn't make anybody feel better.
