This was kind of pre cell phone.
No instant communication.
So everybody's thought process.
And my cousin who wrote the foreword to the book talks about his instantaneous reaction was it's Keith.
Oh, my God, it's Keith because Ron wasn't identified immediately.
Right.
So shortly after, as the news broadcast started to become a little tighter and I found out that it was indeed a murder and that Ron Goldman was one of my employees.
Yes.
Did you know Ron?
Ron was hired right after everybody else at Mezzaluna Brentwood were my employees that I had hired a new stew and got it.
And all those people.
So I just didn't have the chance to cross paths with Ron.
I knew instantly at that point when I discovered it was a murder, it was a violent crime.
I knew instantly that it was either him or someone he had put up to that.
He was responsible.
Well, I had that discussion.
We didn't talk about it at the funeral.
The funeral was about Nick, obviously.
There was the mass and then the burial.
So it was two separate parts.
