Load development three fees and you know capital projects being one of the big issues to fund here. podcast-host

I remember when I signed on, um, and I'll preface this by saying again, I think we do a very poor job at educating our community on the way our fees work. podcast-host

Um and so we start obviously quite a bit lower, substantially lower than PGE, but I don't think anybody wants to just continue to hear, hey, we're 60% lower than PGE, what they want to say podcast-host

And where am I going from here? podcast-host

So um uh w when we look at what data centers are doing for our community, um, I think it would be important for us to start with the message of what would it look like for ratepayers if data centers weren't here and what would they be paying then? podcast-host

um because it would be wildly more than they're paying now. podcast-host

So this idea that we as uh residents are subsidizing is actually backwards. podcast-host

We get cheaper rates because of the data center industrial usage in our city. podcast-host

Capital project funding again, when I look at capital p project funding through load development, statistically or if we actually put this in real numbers for like a hundred and ten million dollar project, and this is a slide that I got, and I just wanted to say this out loud so it made sense and I think this is hopefully what we were getting at. podcast-host

Thirty-five percent of that would be a low development fee, and again, proportionally that goes to our industry partners, which means they'd be paying 71.5 million of our capital projects. podcast-host

4.3 million would go to residents. podcast-host

So when we talk about equality and equity, the the cost sharing here is already crazy. podcast-host

And again, I don't think anybody is at fault for saying my rates are going up. podcast-host
