The gunman was actually a criminal from Bray.

No, I actually think he probably, that sentence has expired in the UK.
I think it's under five years there, you're effectively given half.
Half of that is a custodial element.
So that would have actually expired.
So what he's doing now is effectively shave any potential time that he's given here off.
But...
We've been covering some of these cases over the years.
It's highly unusual that he's decided to brave it out in an English jail as preferable.
I'm sure he'd be remanded in custody once he comes back here, but the option of staying in a jail in London, for whatever reason, is preferable to him.
I don't know why.
Little if he'd lived, he'd be hitting 30 now, so Salmon is a bit older.
