And the strong sense I get, based on sympathetic people at these institutions, because there are good people basically everywhere...

is that it's just seen as a clown show and it's not taken sufficiently seriously.

And the gears of the national security system move slowly.

I mean, it took a year for some of the first NSPM 7 related cases to make it to trial and result.

And we're only just now seeing the fruits of those attempts.
