The big thing that the center needs to do or the climber needs to do is make sure that that player is off balance on one foot so that the second player can finish him very easily.
He doesn't have to wait for that player to be finished, but he has to wait for them to be off balance.
And Linda Bumps has a way of just kind of jolting the player almost like a chip block and then moving to level two and making sure he can line up his level two block.
outstanding at lining people up in space in level two uh is really good speed for a center and that was something when you know going back to the draft that he was really good at um he had in a game against who they they have this game it's against the packers he had 18 level two blocks in that game which is the most i've ever seen in a single game by any lineman um it's it
But he's extremely good, extremely talented, a level two blocker.
You get him out in space, it's exactly what he wants to do.
And he's a good blocker at the line of scrimmage in terms of positioning in the run game.
It's the pass blocking that's important.
Yeah.
OK, so this is at the podium.
The thing that I've probably been most critical about Harbaugh over the years about is that he has an asymmetric set of answers for injury questions.
So I worked in the M&A world and, you know, as an actuary, you know, our lawyers tell us your only comment is no comment if you're buying a company.
You can't talk about it.
You're potentially guilty of insider trading.
If somebody trades upon information, you give them that way.
And that's how Harbaugh should treat it.
If you don't want to give injury information away, just say, you know, I'm sorry, that's an injury question.
I can't answer it.
And you can get more levels of frustrated and not answer it.
But that's the Belichick way.
