I want you to make them quit.

And what I didn't know at the time is how much money they were paying to do these tryouts.

And his message to me was that he would let me know which ones that he wanted through.

And so I had a bunch of guys that were, you know, quote, tough guys.

And we had some battles, but

I was able to handle all of them, make them quit, and then they wouldn't get there.

There was no return on the money if you didn't, you know, make the tryouts.

And so I did that for probably four to five months.

And then I realized that, you know, we weren't going anywhere.

We weren't doing anything.

And even a couple guys that he let pass, I had this one dude, his nickname was Horse, and he was built like a horse.

And I beat the crap out of him and I'm just thinking to myself, why?

Like, it didn't make sense to me.

But then he had this guy that had this business and it was a very successful plumbing business.

Guy probably weighed about 190 pounds, maybe 200 at the most.

And really no athletic ability.

He says, you know, I want this guy to pass.

And, you know, come to find out there was some business transactions that were going on between him and this other guy that were going to support or do something.

I don't know what the details were, but it wasn't for his wrestling ability.

And it just, you know, I caught on pretty quickly that this wasn't where I was going to learn to do pro wrestling.
