So it's like if it's something clever enough and it just lights up the room, it is what it is kind of thing.

So a lot of time they'll do like a musical number to end the first half on high energy and then they'll end the read probably with a musical number.
And hopefully it goes well kind of stuff.
And then everything in between is kind of like.

We're not just doing community theater.
This is Saturday Night Live, so everything everybody's supposed to be writing should be the most hilarious thing you've ever attempted in theory, but at the same time, sometimes you write something that's just funny to you and you don't realize that until you read it out loud.
in kind of a more of a like nondescript group setting kind of thing like this person's from that place this person's that age you know what i mean it's just more random and you see what happens in random environments with your what you think is funny 10 pages kind of thing would there ever be a competition element where people don't want to laugh because it shines a light on somebody else and they're fighting for their own i don't know if anyone is
not necessarily participating for the sake of just participating for themselves.
I think everybody's under the gun together.
And I think that energy allows us to cheer for each other because we all know it's just very stressful.
And it's also, it's very emotional.
You know what I mean?
Like you're just opening yourself up to like ridicule just for the sake of like, I had this kind of funny idea, I thought.
And it's like instead of it not being celebrated, it's like, oh, you missed the mark and kind of here's why.
And you're in an environment where people can kind of help you reach the target you want to reach because you're just surrounded by brilliant writers and they can tell you like, oh, this is kind of where it went left for me or I didn't get this reference or blah, blah, blah.
And you can like learn how to like.
Yeah, hit the target.
