You're always fighting demons on any given day, but I figured out a way to operate.

I'm okay.

I know it was in Philadelphia.

I don't remember exactly what it was.

I'm going to forget the detail, but I think there was a hostage situation at a hospital or something like that that went on for maybe a few days.

I mean, I guess it's a toxic environment depending on your political stance, the way the business has gone.

I'm sure Fox viewers are feeling quite fine tuning in nowadays.

But for my situation, listen, Don, we show up

on people's worst day of their lives and that we leave.

We are at somebody's house when they're going through immense tragedy.

We were at that hostage situation together where I believe two people were killed.

That's the worst day of the lives for somebody.

And we leave.

As the years go on, you know, we're taking on shrapnel.

We don't necessarily leave those stories behind if you have any sort of

empathetic soul, you're still kind of taking on that shrapnel after the other after the other, and you're exposed to it constantly.

And so that in itself can have an impact on many of our psyches and our mental health in the news business.

For me, I had an underlying depression throughout

my entire life, like severe depression, that I worked with using different SSRIs, antidepressants, as well as therapy.
