So, where my brain goes immediately is...
We cover the Federal Reserve.
They are responsible for keeping inflation at around 2%.
And when they are worried about prices increasing across the economy, what do they do?
Well, they make it harder to borrow money.
And so I don't know, is the DOE to some degree not sort of running monetary policy for one product essentially, which is college?
And so if they make it harder to borrow money, would that not be the way to fight inflation?
Is it actually true?
