I don't find it to be reliable.
It's not a website I visit frequently, but the few times things pop up, I have Google alerts set to billionaires so that I'm always looking at news about billionaires, and often celebrity net worth will pop up.
And often I have no idea where they got their information.
The world's billionaires list is, we look at folks around the world who are worth $1 billion or more.
They're super familiar names at the top of the list.
Jeff Bezos of Amazon is number one.
Bill Gates, who is a co-founder of Microsoft.
Number two, Mark Zuckerberg of Facebook.
There are bold-faced names in the world.
We purposely exclude fortunes that folks like the King of Saudi Arabia, the Queen of England, the Sultan of Brunei get as a result of their position.
With Bezos, we know we can figure out how many shares of Amazon he owns.
We pick a day that we use for everybody on the list.
to use the same stock prices for everyone.
With somebody like the King of Saudi Arabia, there's no documents we can dig into that would be listing his wealth.
