You knew that if I wanted to be looked at or even selected into this team, I knew that I had to play good footy at Club Land and, you know, let my footy do the talking.

So, yeah, just every time I got an opportunity in Club Land and I took that and I was hoping that Laurie was watching me, which, yeah, he was.

Yeah, you do think, you know, have you played enough footy for them to be able to select or is that suspension going to play a part in that, you know?

So you do think that, but obviously I felt like I've had a good, well, 18 months or something behind my back and I've been playing some obviously good footy for the Bronx this year.

So I was hoping that it wasn't going to play a part, which obviously it didn't.

But yeah, you do think that and obviously two weeks suspension is,

um obviously there's two weeks of footy there so you never know what could happen yeah there's a suspension there but what you have brought to uh your game or increased is the aggression both in defense and with the ball in hand yeah yeah um i think that's um obviously as a footy player you learn um you know that comes into your game and every pre-season that you get um you try to bring new things into your game and that was probably one of mine is my aggression and

especially in defence.

Obviously, you know, attack is always there, but I feel like if you're a good defensive player, the attack can fall into that.

So, yeah, I've been obviously zoning into my defence a lot more this year and, yeah, I've been putting that on top.

So, yeah.

Yeah, well, I've had the pleasure to play with him in the Tongan team, actually.

You know, obviously, I think it was in 2022, I had the opportunity to play with him and he was just coming through and he was, you know, he was a lightning then and the way he moves, I think that's just, you know, that's just given to him.

But I feel like he's grown as a player and he really deserves his, you know, his spot in his team and he's been killing it for me and, you know, I'd love to be back in camp with him.

Yeah, obviously, you know, playing against Victor on weekends –

he's just, that's just, that's what he brings.

He brings aggression for his club land.

And, um, as a player, that's what you look for, I guess, in this origin arena is that aggression and, uh, wanting to go into war.
