But at the end of the day, if it doesn't sell well, it does sting, you know, because it's me on stage, right?

It's Kevin.

So it feels like a rejection of Kevin.

Even though Kevin on stage is my stage name, Kevin is my name.

So if, you know, to handle it, I think sometimes I handle it with like,

like I gotta just keep putting videos out to stay, you know, but there's always gonna be somebody coming behind you that's gonna pass you like, you know, you getting older and all that type of stuff.

But I think what the main thing I do is I set my expectations that I don't have to sell 3000 tickets to be valuable.

I'm value if I can just make a living doing this.

And if I got to go back into comedy clubs, as long as I still get to sell jokes for a living, if I got to go from, you know, I sell really well in DC right now, maybe two, 3000 tickets I can sell, but that becomes 1000 or 500 or 80.

I remember when 80 was crazy and I'm like, there's 80 people here.

There's 45 people here.

And I just never want to lose that aspect of the desire.

I would never go out there and just be like, it's only 45 people.

I don't even say anything like that.

I remember I was on tour.

One of my homegirls, she'd never done stand-up.

She came from music.

And we were tired.

Just one of those back-to-back-to-backs, few delays.
