So it was very simple.
I just wanted to be able to play Amen.
Then I wanted to graduate to like, you know, night service.
I was like, I would come early.
You know, we would always go to dinner and stuff, but I tried to come back with whoever was going to church first.
Because I was like, let me get on the drums during testimony service before the choir and the people who are good have to play.
Let me just get on and play because I just loved
to play the drums.
So at 10, it was just all, and I was like, if I could get on the junior choir, I'm basically on tour now.
And the thing is, I was never really great because in order to play the drums, you actually have to be able to practice a lot.
right i realized i was like why did i ever become a great drummer because i didn't have time to sit and practice i didn't have a drum set at home i didn't get to practice during choir rehearsal because the real drummers are playing you couldn't really play on our drum set not in church yeah like they my church didn't play that right so i only got to play when i got to play during church you know or if there's nobody in there i could sneak in practice and all the people that i grew up with it was like bro i'm just at the church all the day all day and i'm just you know you know doing this doing that and
But at that time in my life, 10 years old, let me play Amen.
Amen.
And that would carry me to the next service, which is Tuesday.
Every day.
Five times.
Five days a week, probably.
