Well, it's an interesting one because he is... I really like him.

From what I'd heard, or from what I understand, is that Liverpool were interested to sign him and Real Madrid have said, look, it's just a loan and we've said no.
Which then suggests, you know, they're looking to maybe get a fella in who, again, can build value for them and can be a saleable asset.
When I first pitched Munoz before we signed him, I was thinking of him as a nine.
And I wonder if the club are sort of more interested in an out-and-out nine rather than a guy who can play across the front line.

the time when I first it was about two weeks before he signed I'd mentioned him on a gutter and I was mentioning basically as this sort of
guy who can play across the front line and thinking of him as a nine but obviously you sign the player you learn a little bit more about him and I just think he's a left winger although he can play there I think the reason they were really interested in him is he's a left winger who can do a very standard sort of well to a high quality job on the right wing as well he's very versatile in those two positions but I can't imagine they were signing him to play through the middle I think
I think whether we like it or not, if they hang on to Gakpo, that's the option.

This is why if you bring in a younger player, by the way, it kind of makes sense because once Ekotiki is back, you're maybe looking at that younger player to fill out somewhere else.
