The second thing I want to say up the front but then park is I think the depth and the spread of what went on with Diogo Jota and Andre and the impact that it had on the club, the players, the pre-season in practical senses and emotional senses.

I think it's enormous

so it's important i think to say both of those things and you can say it's i think it's reasonable to think both of those things without ranting and raving in either direction i don't think it's heartless to think that the manager should move on the context really that's going on with jotter i don't think it should be framed as such i don't think it's ignorant to think that either uh simultaneously you know i don't think that the manager is in any way shape or form not a decent man um and i do think that there is as i'm going to come on to in a number of places

where I feel things have been unfair on him or exceptionally difficult for him.

But that's not the same as thinking he should retain his job.

And I think that the more we can have conversations in general, but also around the space, without feeling as though you've got to have ranting and raving and name-calling, I think the healthier we'll all be.

So they're almost my three big takeaways right the way up the top.

He was a big part of the Salah infrastructure in a way.

Salah basically loses the three lads who would play number nine in different ways over the course of the season for him in the season before.

And I think that's a big deal.

In a Liverpool-ish way, when that happens, and also he's an unbelievable presser, Jota, he's not just a busy presser, he's remarkably clever with it.
