And that's where, when you look at Palace, Galatasaray and Chelsea, last season, I think that the manager struck lucky with his fixtures.
I said all the way through, when we were appointing slots, all the way through the summer, I said he needs a kind of fixture list to start.
Hit the ground running and you never know.
And he got one, I think, you know, first five were quite straightforward and a trip to Manchester was what I asked for and it's literally what he got.
This season, that run of Palace away, Turkey away, Galatasaray, Chelsea away.
It's when Palace were unbeaten for about a year and a half as well.
It doesn't just get Palace away.
It's Palace when they were at the best they play all the way through the campaign.
Chelsea away and then Man United straight after the international break back.
That's just hard lines.
It is bad luck, but you've got to be better, which I'll come on to.
But the way then all of those then play out, you know, over the course of the game, and I don't think we're well refereed in those games either, but they're all late goals after we've got an equaliser, after we've worked our bollocks off to get an equaliser.
In each of those three games, the league games, we then go and concede a late goal.
And I think that those games then set the tone for the rest of the season in a really big way, because I think they tell the squad...
The fitness isn't there.
The belief isn't there.
The collective isn't there.
And I think some of that stems, and it could be an enormous amount of it stems, but a fair bit of it stems from the pre-season and the pre-season being damaged by Diogo.
I want to be clear about that.
But also there's a feeling they're not on the same page.
