Oh, and for some context as well, it's one of the things that I feel really proud to have received, my matai.

And I'm born and raised in New Zealand as well.

My fa'asa more isn't where it should be.

But yes, I was privileged enough to pick up the matai, my avatele.

And so that's very special for me, for my family.

But yeah, I feel the same way as well.

Like it was really hard for me.

Obviously, not being able to speak the language fully.

But of all my trips to Samoa, that was definitely my best, my most favourite moment.

And I'll do it again in a heartbeat, no matter how uncomfortable it was.
