I knew my role, which was to go out there, do my job, do it really well, to the best of my abilities.

And I'd say all of them as well had an open-door policy, which is if you wanted to get better, you had to ask a question.

But it's not always easy.

Yeah.

Just learning about being courageous and asking the question, being open to learning.

I thought all of my coaches were really good in that space.

You ended up, how many games for 132 or something?

How many All Black games did you play?

Yes, 132.

And everyone's unique.

I think like most minutes of those 132 games, you remember most of those minutes and the lead up to it as well.

The feelings after and before, whether they were good or bad.

And the people.

And the awesome people that had the chance to do that alongside as well.

Yes.

Oh man, I remember like when doing national anthems and I can't sing because I'm going through my head, don't stuff this up, you know.

And I realised too that I'm not only representing myself and my family but I'm also representing our country, our people as well.

So it's something that I always wanted to do well.

It always felt like a lot of pressure and expectation but it was a privilege to do that so yeah.
