Whenever you see the kind of the sheet that, you know, the thing on Kirky's wrist, that's the whiff percentages.

How do you get whiffs with it?

Well, he's setting it up a certain way.

He does it with fastball command, and that's what it will always be about.

When he's locating the heater, sets up everything else, gets him deeper and do games, but it's about strike one.

I think that mechanics thing, Jeff, is he's just sometimes disconnected sometimes.

And I think sometimes instead of staying over the rubber within yourself, he thinks he has to overthrow it.

When he overthrows it, arms play and catch up, that's why you see the noncompetitive arm side.

That, for me, is kind of the work in progress with Petey, and we will, when we get Petey on, kind of ask him about the mechanics and just how he repeats that when he's going through it.

But it's a good question.

Sooner or later, somebody or a couple of those guys are going to have to start giving him quality starts.

From here on out, it's about quality starts.

Or you're just going to destroy what they got down there that's good in that pen.

And I think that's what John's trying to protect against.

Yeah, I would think you would see him more innings two through five than you would sixth inning on, right?

It's not a high leverage arm.

He is a bulk arm.

I mean, it is.

That's really negative.
