I think I was one of the only guys that he actually brought up by name.
So no, it's always good to obviously hear your GM say that they want you back.
And obviously I had meetings with him and Ben and they basically all echoed the same thing.
And I said the same thing as well.
Like if all else is fair and all else is equal, everything's equal.
And I would love to come back to the Bears.
I think just the city, the organization.
has embraced myself my family uh we had such a great year this year and obviously and i kind of said this in my um my interviews uh on after the x-men is like the hardest thing to do and i think in this league is to get the quarterback and the head coach right and i think that's something that chicago has so i think that window is going to be open for as long as it needs to be so obviously i would love to come back and play for the bears you know we know this is a business and i know pose and ben they have a lot of decisions to make on the roster um they're probably still trying to figure out how all that stuff works out so um
Like I said, haven't really had too much conversation about it because it's still January.
You know, I'm pretty sure when the combine comes around where all the decision makers and agents are all in the same room, those conversations will probably pick up a little bit more.
You know, I would love to be back here.
You know, when when Poles came and got me last year, you know, I had had a tough couple of years, you know, just personally.
But then obviously just with getting traded and all that stuff and coming here, you know, I wanted to be able to prove that I was still that guy that I always been my career.
And I think I've done that the past couple of years.
Obviously, I just had a meeting with Ben and Pose and all that good stuff.
I definitely think there's mutual interest for me to be back.
But at the end of the day, I truly don't have any real control over it.
I think with the success that we all had this season as a team, I think a lot of guys on this team is going to be covered around this league, honestly.
I think the same way the organization is always going to do what's best for the team, I think I owe that to my family as well, even though, like I said, I think my first option would be to come back here to Chicago and kind of finish what we got started this year.
Because, like I said, I just enjoy this locker room.
