I would have kept in contact with him a lot over the last few years, so it's great to have him back, but it's not just a sentimental one.

He's an excellent player, and thankfully, as I said, he got off to Mark.

It was a typical Mark Doyle goal.
It really, really was.
If he could have summed up like he's in the right place, he gets there.
He gets the first touch.
A good play from us in the first place, but going back to Doyler, it's a scruffy finish, and they're the ones he loves, and thankfully he went in.
Yeah, well, in the formation we're playing at the moment, we play with wing-backs rather than wingers.
And he played, look, he played there for us a long time, as I said, I'm here a long time, and I certainly remember him playing, but he does play in that position as well, and has done, and did in America, which is probably the most important part, because when I was watching, I didn't just sign him because I knew him, like, I watched a lot of his games and had played a lot as that centre forward or second centre forward, so it was important, but to have that, even when he was playing wide, to have that sort of guile in the box was really important, and obviously when he's playing centrally, he had probably even more opportunity to do that, so
Again, no more than anyone else, and what I'm saying about the team, Doyler, again, is only back in two games, so he won't be getting carried away, and there's things that he and everybody can do better, so hopefully it continues the way it's gone so far.

football journey or soccer journey as it would have been called over there was in America so again he was a player that I had to spend an awful lot of time looking at because again you can't just base off clips and had a lot of meetings with him but was very impressed
And I have to, again, not just him, the other American lads, like, their hunger to come and play in Europe, first of all, and then to come to us.
I think I've seen a couple of them talking about the stuff that I've asked them to go and research.
