And unfortunately the answer is no.

It's dictated by US government rules.

There's something called PFIC, which stands for passive foreign income.

So the rules, the IRS rules in the US do not allow green cardholders or US citizens from holding them.

so it's a really complex piece whereby they're very limited to what they can hold.

And many American citizens or green card holders.

are almost forced to invest in direct stock because of that.

There are a few alternatives.

They're expensive and they're quite detailed, but it it it is um it's a tricky situation for them to be in, yeah.

Message for regular people is really just about it.
