Yeah, Mark, this was a bit of a summer project for me because I'm always been fascinated by the idea that if you are inaccurate when your football career begins, there's a theory that you'll never be accurate. voice-verified

And you go through them, and there's so many guys who had coaching changes, which Caleb Williams had, um, and so many guys who also weren't accurate in college. voice-verified

And one of the things I came to learn from talking to Ben Johnson about, talk to Press Taylor about it, talk to Ryan Poles about it, was they just put such an emphasis on ball placement all spring and all summer. voice-verified

And Caleb Williams bought into that idea that even when you're just throwing routes on air, you're just throwing to receivers with no defense. voice-verified

Defenders, they are still grading all of those passes because they want a runner's ball. voice-verified

And to the point where Ben Johnson told me, he said Caleb would get frustrated with himself if he had an inaccurate pass in those periods, those early periods of practice. voice-verified
