I get it if you look at the talent across the board, it is no different really than last year.
Um, you might even want to argue that it's worse uh than last year.
But I I do think that there's something to be said about the second year.
In a scheme where the coaches have a better sense of how to employ these guys.
Yeah, look w the way Montez Sweat is being paid and the skill set that he has, you want him making an impact play every week.
And maybe that's setting a high bar, but again, you look at the contract, you look at who he is and what he's done, that's that's the hope.
And I think too often sometimes in Montez Sweat's career, maybe we have that one game where he's getting the strip sack and then the next game you don't feel
him as much.
Um so, you know, look, uh Ben Johnson has said multiple times that he thought Montessweat had a really good year last year, even if the sack numbers um weren't extraordinary.
Uh he is still the best guy in that group.
I I think he's plenty motivated.
Um, you know, uh more attention to Austin Booker or Odangbo if he really comes into his own is gonna help Sweat.
So I think there are ways I I you make a good point though, Game.
I mean th this could just be a nine ten set guy and that's okay.
Um but again you would love for him to bring that up into just a completely new level and and and get to another Pro Bowl.
or even and and you know, sneaking all pro, but he just he hasn't shown to that to be able to put that together week after week after week like he did when he first got here in twenty twenty three.
I think he's capable, um, you know, coming off a fully healthy season.
He was there, um, you know, as Grody knows he was there throughout uh minicamp and all of training camp.
Didn't miss you know, he had the one little brief absence at the early part of training camp.
