It was very chilly here.
We're looking forward to the 70-degree temperatures coming back later this week.
But, you know, this was unseasonably cold waking up to, like,
weather in the 30s the past couple days not that I'm complaining I know it's cold back home but a little bit different around here you see when you see you know people working at the ballpark wearing gloves and scarves and and fossil caps at a baseball game at spring training where you know if you're in Pittsburgh all of a sudden people are in shorts and t-shirts in this type of weather down here that's really cold to everybody but I'm looking forward to watching Connor Griffin that's
a guy I want to kind of get some eyes on and see how he does.
And I still believe, Joe, that he should be the opening day shortstop.
I've talked to enough people that feel that, hey, this kid's different.
He's a special talent.
He can handle it.
Let's just roll with him.
But I understand where the Pirates are coming from in terms of wanting to make sure that he succeeds because that's very vital to their success is to get the best out of Connor Griffin.
No, I wouldn't say that.
I think if Connor Griffin tears the ball off all spring, he might force their hand.
But I guess just when you see how the lineups are constructed early and that the Pirates have played several games at Lecom Park and he's not been in the starting lineup in those games and that they'd rather have, you know, Alika Williams and Jared Triolo and Nick Gonzalez playing shortstop at home and with more representative lineups, that gives me an idea that the decision may have already been made.
Appreciate you having me.
I have not seen Ron, but I am enjoying a clear blue sky and 61-degree weather.
It's warmed up considerably today.
It started off, I think when I left the house, it was 30 degrees.
