Well, I mean, first of all, the conversation started with Henry talking about catching Paul Skeens and, you know, the first bullpen when Skeens went a live BP against Connor Griffin.
So that's how the conversation started.
But when I started talking to Henry about his own hitting and this is a guy who batted 167 last season and has a 181.
career batting average with the Pirates.
He came in the Major League Baseball draft the number one overall selection in 2021 with a reputation as the best hitter in college baseball as a catcher at Louisville.
And the Pirates kind of rushed him to the majors as a right fielder because they wanted his bat in the lineup.
And although his first year, you know, he became the first player in Major League history or the first major leaguer to hit two home runs in one game against Shohei Itani.
Davis has largely been ineffective at the plate.
A lot of it's because he's concentrated on improving his defense.
But part of it was because this is a guy who became very much a full-side hitter and a guy who drilled a lot of balls into the ground.
