And yeah, I think it's that sort of thing where you can make a difference.

I think Bill Shankly and Bob Pace, they made a difference, not just to a club, but to an area.

In Manchester City, when I got offered the job there, the chairman, David Bernstein, went on to chair the FA.

I said to him when he came to my house with Dennis Stewart, what are you looking for, you know, for Man City?

He said, well, I'd just like to stay in the same division for two years because he said in five years we've been in five different divisions.

We've either gone down or up and down.

And I said, well, I think I can do that.

And, of course, I never did that because I took them back up.

So six years where they never played in the same league for that next season.

So, yeah.

Manchester City was a big club.

I mean, Newcastle's huge, as you know.

Fulham was different because I didn't know an awful lot about it.

So I had to learn about Fulham.

But it's still a great club.

And, you know, they're back in the Premier League now.

But we were a third division side in old money.
