But I can remember the day they decided to play him in central defender because he was a midfield player and I thought, you know, he's lost the plot here, Bob Paisley.

He never came to midfield.
In fact, he was twice as good as a defender as he was as a midfield player.
So, yeah, all those.
Chris Lawler, he was great.
Alec Lindsay and Joey, when Joey replaced him, two totally different... Alec Lindsay...
When I came to Liverpool, I finally, at Scunthorpe, was making the same runs, but the lads didn't have the ability to either see it early enough or deliver the pass at the right pace.
When I met a run for Alex Lindsay, it was unbelievable.
He just used to put it on a plate for you, you know, right pace, right distance, right angle.
So, you know, Joey was a bit different, but Joey was more... Joey Jones was all about passion and thunder and, you know, he motivated the team just because he was so pleased just to be playing there.
So, you know, we had to get on well.
