Some of the plays he made were just like totally uncharacteristic of of a guy of his hockey sense and ability and and, you know, uh some breakaways, some plays in in you know, uh uh s you know, passes that weren't quite as good that he put in his partner's feet and then he went to that that one goal and he tried to go over and defend and I think Bennett walked around and scored.

I mean, that never that, you know

Uh nine hundred and ninety nine times out of a thousand, that that that never happens to a guy like him.

And it happened a few times in the playoffs.

And that that was really and I'm surprised the media didn't talk about it so much, but of course they're not really trying to point the fingers at him.

But I'm I'm just in my mind trying to rationalize why the Oilers didn't win the series.

Um you know, they uh they can argue people could argue goaltending, but really when

You have a guy of his ability

not playing at his at his level and then at some points being actually a detriment.

Um I mean that that's enough to change the whole series.

You have to have your finger on the pulse of that for sure.

I mean, I think in the eighty eight playoffs, I'm not sure I practiced once the entire playoffs.

I would uh because I had my broken wrist

Um, you know, I I would ride the bike to try to stay up up to speed.

But I mean w you know, at that time of the year you're I mean you're playing on instinct, you're playing on experience and you wanna more importantly, you most importantly you want to make sure that everyone's fresh and has the type of juice they need to have in the tank, uh, to play at that level.

So, um yeah, I'm for me I I wasn't aware of what the orders were doing, what Florida was doing, but
