I mean, full credit to those guys.
A number of years ago they rolled into Edmonton, I think it's about a decade ago, and met with Tim Shipton and Bob Nicholson and myself and
told us to said they said, Listen, you know, we're we're Oiler fans living in Red Deer and the Flames are kicking the crap out of you guys in Red Deer.
They're in there doing all kinds of good stuff and and uh we think the Oilers need to have a little more of a presence for all their fans, great fans in in Red Deer.
And then that was really the the the beginning of the whole thing that those guys stepped up and said, And by the way, you guys don't have to do much, you know, just show up and we'll make sure everything runs properly and that they did.
I mean, they've raised millions for a great cause and uh kudos to those guys and it's always fun to
to you know, to cavits about the Battle of Alberta, guys like Field Fleury will be there, Mike Vernon and Tim Hunter on the other side and you mentioned Jamie McCown.
So uh it's it's gonna be a great couple of days and really look forward to it.
Uh, that'd be a big part of it, no question.
Um um, you know, that's how

people get you know, enjoy the game.
Like look in Florida right now, how many how many new hockey fans there will be 'cause of the success of the Panthers.
Right.
And but another another piece to this too, Stoff in Furnace of the Flames is that we we came into the NHL a year earlier than them, so we had a bit of a r right start.
It and we had a guy by the name of Wayne Gretzky on the team.
So so it's a good way to start.
But uh uh yeah, I'm I'm like you, I want the Flames
to be successful.
I want them, you know, the it it makes the games against each other that much more important.
