And we've never had a fracturing of party politics that way since probably you have to go back to 1924 when the first Labour government was,

was formed and Labour replaced the Liberal Democrats as the second party.

And it's where Starmer's resolution can appear stubbornness and blindness to what is happening, because as you say, he is no Tony Blair.

I do believe the UK Liberal government can point to some very tangible issues

One, not getting any hearing for them.

But then secondly, when people are calling out for change, they're calling out for very different change.

And it's where the fractured two-party system can throw up incredible results going forward.

And that 34% of the Labour vote could look big at the next general election.

Well, the next prime minister, I think, is probably whoever replaces Keir Starmer.

But at the next general election, you would have to say he is the favourite and the front-runner.

However, it is far from certain they would get anywhere near a majority because, as I say, John Curtis, another of the pollsters, is pointing out reform is winning under 30% of the vote.

That could possibly open the way to some sort of pact or coalition with the Conservatives.

We are in this uncharted territory and it is very difficult to navigate where the UK will get to.

They could finish the day with the mayors of some London boroughs, but there's no doubt that Zach Polanski's

party being hit by anti-Semitism and rows, but nevertheless, it's an insurgent force that is on the rise, and it's on the rise at the cost of Labour.
