It is an absolute imperative.

They have to be where the audience is.

They have to tell stories in a way that this new audience understands.

likes those stories being told.

And this extends to sports and ESPN as well.

Short form storytelling is the coin of the realm for younger audiences and those same audiences as they become older.

That math has already shown that.

Audiences hang on to this usage paradigm as they get older.

So Disney has to do it.

And could it fall flat?

Certainly possible.

Could they iterate a bunch of times and see what works and what doesn't and ultimately come up with a product that doesn't fall flat, that takes advantage of this interaction with their creators in a very robust and fan-friendly way?

Likely.

I think Disney is really good about this.

The biggest risk there is, is not doing this.
