I mean, I think I could presume, but what was... Well, yeah, we identified, again, brands being the most important thing that Disney can pursue.
Why?
Brands, future-proofing companies.
All sorts of things can happen.
You can have business model shifts in a different way.
You can have sales and product, technological shifts, consumer behavior changes.
All the things that are very difficult to predict.
Not only when does all this happen, but what impact it can have on your business.
story order to follow.
I was pretty good at doing that because my job was to try to understand the future.
I said, well, there's no way to do that because of any of these important factors.
All you can do is understand the megatrends that are underlying it, which we talked about.
Infinite choice, lack of friction, and the ability to consume content for a very long time.
And mediocrity being most important going forward.
You only do the best stuff you can always do as a consumer and not a business.
And so we found plans are a way to make sure that Disney will, in the future, have consumer demand.
Consumers will always love the brands that represent quality.
And the brands that represent quality itself, Marvel, Star Wars, and entertainment, they really like the other brands that matter.
They're what accompanies you.
If you go to a Disney, if you go to a Disney film or Pixar film or Marvel's Star Wars film or a television series, you know what you're going to get.
