But when Bob and I created Disney+, we loved the way for Hollywood to become fully verticalized.
What do I mean by that?
Before, studios would sell their wares
with our own products.
So everything that Disney made, in any creative engine, whether it be Marvel, Star Wars, Pixar, Disney, NBC, and you bought, with a lot of feeling, you bought 24-7 for the box, any Fox, FX, anything that we made, it would kind of, in our opinion,
Disney-made, or Marvel-made, or Star Wars-made, or Disney+.
If it was faster than DC-made, then what they're doing.
If it was sport-related, then that's what they're doing.
So everything we made was now vertically integrated into our iron distribution.
That is a system, you know, that did not exist in Hollywood before, as I think we discussed earlier here.
And of course, it was so successful that everyone in Hollywood just hated it.
So everything from Marvel Brothers to HBO Max, everything we think
kind of that, most of them are not laws.
So everything's just unverified.
And if you are an independent streamer, like I'm not quite sure who you are, but I may be, or even a non-streamer, like there's a class, and you have a licensed content for outside your own ecosystem, you can't do it.
Because everyone's taking, all the students are taking their own content, only the licensed students are receiving services.
So I thought the independent producer content did not
would work well.
If Netflix wants to buy some high-quality product, they should go to Disney and do what they're doing, because Disneyland is also Disney Plus.
So I thought, going to get you back to independent production, typically would be great.
