And Lloyd Rees.
I met Lloyd Rees and I had the great privilege of knowing him and going to his 90th birthday with one other person, Lou Klepak, and he said architecture was the finest of the arts.
And I sort of put the two together and think they're the same.
In fact, I have found the architecture biennale more interesting than the art biennale.
Why is that?
People are allowed to float free.
I mean, the last exhibition that I went to, Australian Architecture, how fantastic to see kids playing in this wonderful sand pit and
in an enclosed, safe place, to see those 47 works that were around the wall, to me, is so much more interesting than a lot of the things.

I've been to the architecture one about 10 times.
But the two things, exhibitions I've seen, the Art Biennale have been terrific.
But a lot of the other work in the Art Biennale, I just found pretty standard and boring.
And when compared with a lot of the art that I see artists in Australia churning out,
But architecture, they're not selling anything except maybe their ideas.
They're selling their ideas.
