But how difficult it is to raise the money for the architecture biennale, which costs us about $700,000, $800,000 a year, and thank goodness for a few of the sponsors we've got.

But to get money out of the Creative Australia, the government,

I've had to go and beg from several arts ministers for architecture and I think this is so wrong.

I think the art biennale gets two million or possibly even more.

You mean at the Architecture Biennale?

Some of them are in my face and I think, how did anyone ever get permission to build that?

And the other thing, I loved your house, you know, the, what is it, the Great Australian Dream Program, because you were so right on so many issues.

I mean, of course you were right.

You're the genius.

Let's use that as a promo.

No, but it was a terrific expose really on the mistakes that we make.

And one of my favourite all-time houses is Manning Clark House in Canberra.

I think Robin Boyd designed it.

Now, there's a house.

If everyone in Australia lived in a house like that, we'd be so much better off.
