She's been in office for 30 years.
You mentioned she's chair of the powerful Senate Appropriations Committee.
And that's something that she points to all the time.
And she says, you know, not only do I provide steady leadership, I'm benefiting the state with my senior position.
I'm able to bring all this money back for firehouses, for wastewater treatment, for roads.
All these things are important.
So I think that's going to be key to their argument.

She's not doing enough to push back, even though she holds this powerful position, to the Trump administration's blatant attempts to basically take away the power of the purse from Congress.
And so I think that tug between wanting change

He's known for getting passionate around issues.
