Seems to still be very kind of in the throes of that grief and is not happy that he had left and claimed to drive in and had all these adventures while she was just trying to survive.

And we see Hugh sort of leave from that, left alone at the end of that scene with his thoughts.

So on that side of Tumbleton, the Hugh and Ulf, what thoughts do we have?

It's a very, like, Jaehaerys and Alysanne storyline.

Like, very interesting way that they chose to sort of make him question all this is very Jaehaerys and Alysanne.

Like, he's trying to claim power and keep his family safe in the way that he sees fit.

is maybe missing all the smaller easier ways to do that um and the ways that are not based on very like chauvinist power structure sorts of things and very you know just feels very like similar to those two's story if you were to put them into a world where they were small folk mm-hmm

If we have no other thoughts, I will just say Vermithor flying looks absolutely badass.

Like the way Vhagar just looks so colossal that that looks cool too.

But Vermithor is like, I think just small enough, like just enough smaller that he doesn't look like a giant bomber.

He still looks like the top end of, I hate to say realistic, because none of them are realistic, but the top end of what makes sense in my brain to see and go, that could be a living creature.

Dragonpit feels very beginning of the season for how they've done this.

I think they want to end the season with Rhaenyra in a very tenuous position.

Not that she hasn't been in a tenuous position, but feeling like she is hanging on by an absolute thread in King's Landing.

And then episode one of next season, they would want to cut it.

That seems like how they would do that for me, given how they've done those things in the show.

I think the other piece of the betrayal that is going to be interesting to get around is, I mean, Hugh's brother-in-law is entirely a creation of the show, and Orman kills him.
