That's true.

The calling of the question can be challenged by a council member and voted on by the majority of council.

A member of the public mentioned that it appeared that the related project would be on the same timeline as the delivery of these projects.

I just want to note for the record that's not the case.

Related is actually on a different timeframe that is not dependent on these projects.

And as staff noted, they're working with related on their system impact study and having conversations about both the power needed for the Northeast parcel

as well as the primary parcel.

But I will say that you cannot mandate behavior.

It's decided by our society and ultimately our voters.
