you know, get to a point of contact where you believe that ball is going to go and try to get underneath it and try to get it in the air.
And especially in a place like Sacramento where, you know, just historically over the last two years, um, it's a place where the ball really flies.
A sinker's a much tougher pitch to get on plane with, get underneath, get in the air and drive.
Um, so
Whether that's something we're gonna continue to see out of both of those guys for the rest of the year or that is kind of just playing into the ballpark that they're pitching in.
But Jose um
Big time, big time from him yesterday, being able to go deep into a game.
Um, you know, I think this is exactly the type of picture I knew the Blue Jays were getting because I was his teammate in Anaheim and he was just a pup then.
But I saw um the build, the body.
He he screams ace when you look at the physicality of him.
Big lower half, strong physical guy, um, you know, super calm demeanor on the mound.
Obviously stuff for days, high velocity.
Um
You know, I I I've loved the adjustments he's made since coming over.
And, you know, there hasn't been a whole lot of mechanical, you know, wind up adjustments, but I think the pitch usage right now um has been a a really good uh um sign for him.
And I I still think the best is yet to come.
I mean, imagine what we saw out of Dylan Sees early in this year and then the pitcher he kind of became.
I don't think we're gonna quite see that out of Jose Sorrow.
Quite yet.
One, he didn't have spring training with the team.
