Has he lost a step?
I don't know the metrics and stuff.
Or is it – sometimes it can be as simple as, man, I'm going to be a free agent next year.
I only have X amount of homers this year.
I was trying to hit 30.
I was trying to do these things.
And just those little bit of –
doubt that creeps into your mind offensively where the thought of thinking about your offense and defense could, you know, cause that split-second delay in a reaction, a jump, an angle.
Am I allowed to be honest?
Absolutely.

I mean...
I think early on in my career, I was just – I was really good.
And I think as I progressed in my career and maybe the offensive trajectory that I thought I wanted to go on, I never reached there.
I had an understanding of like, man, I could play this game a long time if I keep this skill set up.
So I never really allowed it to slump.
