You know, some of the things that were said to me in the outfield when I was playing happened to me outside, like in a restaurant or a bar.
I mean, they would be in handcuffs and they'd be taken away for, like, assault, right?
Or we talked about the Mookie Betts play in the World Series, right?
If someone puts your hands on you in a public space right there, right?
They would either have a problem with you, and that would be solved, you versus him, or they would be taken away.
Like, we just lose humanity when we get to these stadiums.

I think some of the teams that you're talking about right now, maybe not.
But, I mean, I could definitely see a scenario maybe in Philadelphia where you've had the same manager for a long time.
Maybe the voice gets a little bit worn down.
It holds a little bit less weight with the players.
You know, maybe the relationships are fractioned a little bit.
But, I mean, it's hard to blame a guy like, you know, with the Mets in New York right now.
