That sounds like an eternity away.
It's now 23 years away.
So that's not exactly an eternity.
Secondly, his policy towards Taiwan is increasingly hard and sharp.
Give me an example of what you mean by that.
What is he actually saying?
He is saying that on the question of Taiwan and his most recent engagements with President Trump in Beijing, that unless this is handled prudently, this is a very dangerous issue which could result in collision and conflict.
He hasn't used those formulations before.
So these are not just, I'm shooting the breeze with my best pal Don, and this is what I felt like this morning after I'd had my waffle.
And he's not like Trump.
