Oh man.
I uh I don't know if you remember this, Andy, but one of my uh favorite images uh was when they
put all the players at the very first London in event in black cabs and drove the black cabs out onto the the T for the first ever shotgun start.
Uh that was one of my lasting memories was watching uh you know Ian Poulter and Lee Westwood and Phil Mickelson sort of cram themselves into these little uh English cabs.
Uh yeah, that London event was sort of a surreal thing.
I guess uh Ari Fleischer would be another
of my um sort of lasting memories when Ari Fleischer just appeared out of nowhere, a a sort of uh, you know, ghoul by hire uh to show up and run the press conference uh for the first ever live thing when the re reporter uh for the AP got basically like kicked out of the press conference for um asking Kevin Naw about blood money.
Uh those were some of my
Lasting takeaways from that event.
I think too, I'll I'll always remember the I was typing my story up in the hotel late at night, and a bunch of uh caddies were staying in the same hotel where I was working.
And they like in the very beginning, live spared no expense.
Like they were just throwing so much money around.
And so there was basically an open tab at the bar for.
players and caddies and whoever to get whatever they want.
And so the caddies were just like, you know, if you've never met a caddy, like they know how to stretch a dollar.
Uh and if you're just gonna give them an unlimited tab, of course they're gonna go all the way with it.
And they were singing like like shouting singing along to Oasis's don't look back in anger, while they just like guzzled like free alcohol from the thing.
And so the whole like
kind of lobby was filled with the sounds of caddies singing Don't Look Back in Anger, uh basically as like a goodbye to the the PJ tour.
Now it turns out they did look back with a lot of anger uh throughout their time.
