I've been coming out to be on the ice doing some video with a goalie coach that I know and a couple of NHL prospects.
And sort of having to make that commute without being able to just turn on the dial easily.
I'm one of the olds, as we can see with the gray beard.
So I've got to learn how to manage and have the ability to sort of download and access sports that way.
I think of the community and the audience, the voices lost for them.
And then last but not least, I think this has gotten, it's disappeared a little bit, the charity work that...
went through that station.
I mean, I was heavily involved in the Autism Network stuff.
A lot of the money that was raised, it was always easier when you had that audience for Canucks Autism Network.
Obviously, we took part in the events, but also raised a lot of money as a group and spread the word about that.
And that also disappears.
And, you know, that's the part... Challenger baseball, too.
jay's care challenger baseball tournament i do believe is still going forward it'll still exist but the mouthpiece isn't there anymore yeah yeah i know it's it's actually monday and and john olerud's the featured guest and so you know like still it's always tough right now with rogers attach it would still a fantastic cause um and so if anybody wants to get involved they can they can look that up but those are the things that disappear it's you know what
we talk about monopolies and the deals that the government has cut over the year to allow them to expand and build their monopolies.
And, you know, I know what I pay for cell bill for a month.
And part of the pledge was to maintain sort of these community initiatives, like forget sports 1130.
And the people that worked there that made sure that there was good, honest news, like that part was supposed to be a part of that commitment.
And I know Patrick Johnson has talked about that with you guys and written about it quite well.
And, uh, you know, talked about it on your show, but, you know, pulling the rug out from under that, like, I feel like,
They're all corporations, but when they get deals and they make promises based on sort of a community partnership and a community commitment, this is them pulling the rug on the community commitment part of it.
