And like, I didn't get the chance to speak to a lot of them again to just kind of revisit or refresh.
And, you know, Nintendo were just they just they just weren't really up for it.
I think, like most big games companies, they they only really want to offer you access to their people when there's some marketing beat that serves their purposes, you know.
So it's, it's understandable again, but like, thankfully I had, I had, I had more than enough.
I had more than enough.
So I didn't need to, I wasn't totally reliant on them playing ball.
I'm going to tell you a fairly open secret, Maddie, which is that I speak Japanese.
Yeah, it really helps.
It helps a lot.
So I studied Japanese at university and I lived there for a year.
Um, so, uh, I know enough, my Japanese is rusty as heck, right?
Like I was never, I was never like fluent, but I was good enough, um, to understand what's being said to me.
You could tell when you were given the runaround basically.
Exactly.
And I could tell when the translator said something that was not the same thing.
as what had been said to me.
Um, and it's super useful, especially earlier in my career, like very useful to be like the job.
And also people didn't know, unfortunately everyone knows now, but there was a point where people didn't know I spoke Japanese.
So I could kind of, you know, I could just have that little, that little up my sleeve.
Um, so yeah, I speak Japanese, which helps.
